Maternity * newborn * 1 year
This is such an exciting time in your lives, I created the perfect photography bundle to document each milestone. Pregnancy & the first year with a new baby (or babies!) is a whirlwind, be sure to document this sweet time! This bundle will include a maternity session, an in-home newborn lifestyle session, and a sunset session around the one year mark!
This session will take place inside your home within the first 30 days after bringing your new baby home from the hospital. During this time, we will use spaces in the home- mostly the nursery, owner's suite, and family room to capture what life looks like with a new little one in the home. We will include other siblings & even pets during this session. Cuddles, kisses, diaper changing, nursing, bathing, etc. I will do some directing during the session to get a complete gallery but some of the session will be you enjoying the sweet moments of the newborn stage! Because I like to take a more documentary approach with photographing newborns, I do not prop the baby in any way.
These sessions usually last 45-90 minutes. I encourage families to wear neutral colors without too many patterns and to have baby dressed in a white long sleeve onesie, a neutral sleeper outfit or pants set. Your home does not have to be spotless, some light housekeeping/moving things off tables and counters is all you'll need to do to prepare for your session. It is best to schedule this session between 9AM & 2PM when the natural light in your home is the brightest!
one year
a family sunset session
This part of the bundle can be scheduled around baby's first birthday. Some families like to have their galleries back before the 1st birthday party so be sure to schedule at least 3 weeks in advance if you are planning on having photos printed! These sessions are up to an hour at the location of your choice and will take place about an hour before sunset. Sunset sessions are fun and playful. I will do some directing and posing while capturing the connection you share with each other and baby!
